The Citrix Ready program helps customer identify third-party solutions that add the greatest value in Citrix Application Delivery Infrastructure solutions. eToken and SafeWord have completed a rigorous verification process to ensure compatibility with Citrix Access Gateway and Citrix XenApp .

The Citrix Ready program makes it easy for customers to identify complementary products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments. As part of the new Aladdin Authentication Business Unit strategy, Aladdin is strengthening relationships with strategic partners for both Aladdin eToken and Aladdin SafeWord, said Phil Pavay, vice president, business development at Aladdin Knowledge Systems. Aladdin is renewing its longstanding eToken-Citrix relationship and incorporating the new Aladdin SafeWord line to create solutions at the forefront of remote office and mobile computing technology by enabling strong authentication to fit any corporate infrastructure, whether they are using smartcard-based certificates or advanced OTP access.

Aladdin eToken USB-based smartcard generates and stores users personal credentials, such as private keys, passwords and digital certificates, inside the encrypted environment of the on-board smartcard chip. In order to access applications from outside the organization s protected network, the user verifies his identity with both a password and the eToken device. This unlocks the personal credentials and creating an encrypted connection between the user s computer and the organization s network without exposing the user s private information to the PC environment.

Aladdin SafeWord offers secure One-Time-Password OTP access to Citrix remote applications, requiring no additional software on the client s workstation. SafeWord 2008 is compatible with Citrix products including Access Gateway, XenApp, Citrix Access Essentials, and Citrix GoToMyPC Corporate.
